18-month Post Doc in shallow water / seagrass remote sensing, at Nantes University

Postdoc profile: background and publication record in at least two of the following fields 
  • Shallow water remote sensing
  • Marine optics 
  • Radiative transfer in the ocean
  • Seagrass remote sensing
  • Coastal zone ecology
Objectives:  The postdoc researcher will develop and validate algorithms for the remote-sensing of seagrass meadows using Sentinel2-MSI, Landsat8-OLI, and Pléiades data. Three study sites will be investigated: (i) an intertidal site with emerged beds of Zostera noltei during low tide (Bourgneuf Bay, France), and (ii) two shallow water sites with underwater beds of Zostera marina (Glénan islands, France; Venice lagoon, Italy).
